Speaking at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel stadium today, BJP’s national president Shri Rajnath Singhji frankly admitted that Modi is the most popular leader in India at this time, and therefore he has chosen to speak before Modi, though he is party’s national president.
Generally, party president speaks at last in any party function, but today Rajnath Singh spoke first and in his speech he said, “Our party leader Shri V.Satishji called me over phone and said I am party’s national president and I should speak at last. (All I want to say is)yes, I am party president, but I can’t deny the fact that the most popular leader in India at this time is Narendra Modi. Therefore I will speak first and then Modi will speak. It’s an honor to democracy too.”
It should be mentioned here that in past, Advani has also spoken before Modi in campaign rallies in Ahmedabad.
