After vising Indulal yagnik’s statue and Shahid Smarak in wall city Ahmedabad, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today morning while speaking to media persons opened the chapters of history and said that in 1960, brutal firing from Congress office had killed youths of Gujarat, and at that time Congress was the ruling party here. Modi continued attacks Congress even in a function held at Dandi in south Gujarat on the occasion of foundation day of Gujarat. He said central govt wants to change heritage rout to Dandi which should not be allowed, and original route on which Mahatma Gandhi walked should be followed.

Reacting to Modi’s remarks, Gujarat Congress leader Rajubhai Parmar said that it is sad that Chief Minister speaks things like this even on foundation day of Gujarat. He asked, “Where were you Mr. Modi at that time?”

Reacting to Modi’s comments, leader of opposition in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Badruddin Sheikh said that Congress leaders like Prabodh Raval, Harihar Khambholja, Brahmkumar Bhatt participated in MahaGujarat movement. BJP was not even in existance at that time.
