Gujarat by-polls:BJP leading on all six seats, previously occupied by Congress

Narendra Modi has proved himself an ultimate eliminator of rival Congress party in Gujarat. Four assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats went to by-polls on 2nd June. Counting of votes has started. The initial trends suggest that BJP is likely to win all six seats including two Lok Sabha seats; one in Saurashtra and other in north Gujarat. Interestingly all these seats were occupied by Congress in previous election.

On Limbdi assembly seat Kiritsinh Rana is ahead by margin of over 21,000 votes
On Morwa Hadaf seat, BJP’s Nimishaben Suthar is ahead by margin of over 8,000 votes
On Banaskantha Lok Sabha seat, BJP candidate Haribhai Chaudhary is ahead with margin of over 74,000 votes
On Jetpur assembly seat, BJP’s Jayesh Radadia is ahead with margin of around 17,000 votes.
On Porbandar Lok Sabha seat, BJP’s Vitthal Radadia is ahead with margin of over 80,000 votes.
On Dhoraji assembly seat, BJP’s Pravin Mankadia is ahead with margin of around 8,000 votes.
