Gujarat and Bihar are made for each other:Modi

Gandhinagar, 6 July 2013

Speaking to BJP cadre in Bihar through an audio bridge technology, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today said that Gujarat and Bihar are made for each other.

Shri Modi said that Bihar was a land of Bhagawan Buddha and Mahavir, but they influenced Gujarat too a lot. Bihar had Nalanda university, Gujarat had Valabhi. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was made President by Sardar Patel, while Morarji Desai was made Prime Minister by Jayprakash Narayan. Bihar was a land of Bhagawan Buddha, and Gujarat’s Vadnagar had hostel of 10,000 Buddhist monks. When Bihar’s century celebration was celebrated in Gujarat’s Surat and Ahmedabad, Chief Minister Modi was present at both the places. Mahatma Gandhi experimented Satyagraha in Champaran. If Gandhiji gave Swaraj, it was Jayprakash Narayan who gave a mantra of Surajya.

How does it work? Modi’s office had been given phone numbers of 1500 party workers in advance. They were divided into three segments of 500 each. First segment covered state level leader, the second segment covered district and unit level leaders. The third segment involved panchayat level party men.

500 party men of each of the three segments received phone call from Modi at one go. They listened to Mr. Modi’s talk. Most of the party workers were connected through one-way communication, but selective those who registered through their smart phones had opportunity for two-way communication. In each segment, five persons were given chance to ask Mr. Modi a question. They dialed a phone number given to them and asked Modi a question. In total 15 party men asked question to Mr. Modi and got reply over a phone call.
