Hyderabad, 16 July 2013
Andhra Pradesh BJP leader Shri G. Kishan Reddy today clarified that collection from people attending Shri Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad rally on 11 August are be donated for relief in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand. “The state unit might also contribute a sum in addition to the collections for the youth meeting,” he added while speaking to an English daily.
He also said that Rs. 5 contribution is not mandatory, and there’s no ticket system. One who is not able to contribute Rs. 5 will also attend the rally, he added.
Meanwhile state BJP spokesperson and secretary N.V. V. S. Prabhakar told Telegraph daily that the party started registrations a week ago and already enrolled over 35,000.
Tilak's Paisa Fund, Mahatma's taking of coins for funds, MM Malviya's joining a queue begging for funds to set up a univ- worth remembering.

BJP decides to take voluntary entry fee for a rally, it's a party matter, not govt function, why even Congress, JDU bothered about that?
