-10 villages of Padra, 6 villages of Vadodara and 23 villages of Savli 23 taluka – thus total 39 low lying villages located next to river Mahi are put on alert following release of 2 lakh cusec water from Kadana dam.
-Top cop PP Pandey(IPS) today appeared in court in Ahmedabad on wheel chair. The court today rejected CBI plea for juidicial custody of Pandey. The court will hold hearing on Shri Pandey’s plea for anticipatory bail on 3 August.
-A meeting of Gujarat BJP Kisan morcha shall be held at Gandhinagar under the leadership. State Kisan Morcha president Babubhai Jebalia, national president Omprakash Dhankadji, prabhari Rupala, state organization general secretary Bhikhubhai Dalsania and national vice president Dilip sanghani will guide the meeting.
-There’s another hike in petrol and diesel prices. Petrol will be dearer by 70 paisa per liter excluding local taxes, diesel 50 paisa.
-Gujarat Police has handed over probe of Murder of a girl in Dhari village of Amreli district to CID Crime.
