Heavy rain says ‘good morning’ to Amdavad, the city completes 100% rain of year(pics/video)

Heavy rain said ‘Good morning’ to Ahmedabad on early Saturday morning.

After a round of heavy rain on dark Friday evening, the rain said ‘hello’ again to citizens on Saturday morning at around 6.00 am. It was so heavily pouring that all low lying areas infamous for water logging during heavy rain were water logged again.

Weather department had predicted heavy rain within 48 hours.

With today’s shower, the city has completed its 100% rain of the season(10 years average of normal monsoon).

This is the picture of city’s Parimal under bridge. As always, due to heavy rain, Parimal, Mithakhali, Akhbarnagar, Dakshini and other under bridges were closed for traffic in the morning. They were later opened for traffic in the afternoon.
