The rally was significant because ruling Congress party in centre has highest number of MPs from Andhra Pradesh. The rally was important because Andhra Pradesh is one of the big states with significantly high number of Lok Sabha seats. The rally was important because Andhra is passing through a historic period. There’s violence going on in parts of Andhra Pradesh after Congress-led UPA’s announcement for formation of separate Telangana state. The rally was significant because party leader Venkaiya Naidu described it as an occasion of launching of party campaign.
