Dwarka, 2 September 2013
During last one week, Chief Minister Narendra Modi has traveled across Gujarat to inaugurate new districts, but people fail to understand why Shri Modi assigned the job of inauguration of new Devbhoomi Dwarka district to a senior minister. The district was inaugurated by senior minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama yesterday and not Modi. It is interesting to note that BJP MLA of Dwarka Pabubha Manek also was absent in yesterday’s function. Manek just sent a note which was read out during the event.
The function was attended by ministers Babubhai Bokhiria, Vasuben Trivedi and Jayantibhai Kavadia, and Khambhalia MLA Poonam Madam.
As many as 160 state transport buses were put on road to carry nearly 10,000 people to the event.
Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in his speech announced that the state govt had allotted Rs. 57 crore for 10 meter widening work of Jamnagar-Dwarka highway.
