Gujarat Congress circulates Modi’s video with Asaram, but it hardly makes any point!

Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia has posted a video of Asaram praising Narendra Modi on Youtube. This old video was captured during a river linking function held at Sidhpur in north Gujarat.

Shri Modhwadia and other Congress men seem overjoyed like he has performed some James Bond kinda job, but God knows what Mr. Modhwadia proves by posting this video. All leading sadhus were called to this function which was organized to add Narmada water to dry Saraswati river bed. Asaram was one of them and praised Modi. Everyone other than pro-Congress and leftist! Modi looks seeking blessings of Asaram? Well, then look at this photo of Digvijay Singhji which is high in circulation online since today morning.

Shri Modhwadia should watch this September 2012 video too in which Asaram speaks against the Narendra Modi government for not allowing his satsang sabha in Somnath. Asaram threatens to uproot those who prevent his satsang gatherings in this speech. Asaram speaks a lot against the Gujarat Police in this video. Asaram Bapu’s satsang in Somnath had to be canceled after Shri Somnath trust disallowed him to hold satsang event on trust land following the protest by Prajapati community and sadhu samaj.

“If today’s netas understand my nature, it will be good for them,” Asaram said.

“The police in Saurashtra behaved in cruel manner with our Sadhaks. Even under Ravan’s rule, if you seek permission (for satsang) and give assurance to follow the rules, such thing would not happen,” he continued.

“At 2.00 am our samiti people were picked up by police and were told that the programme was canceled. They also removed the tents. The Police in Somnath committed such an atrocity on our sadhaks. But I clearly want to say that I will organize satsang in Somnath before I die. After all, what mistake we have committed, what mistake out bhaktas have committed” Asaram asked.

“Those who prevent satsang should be uprooted. Is it that the Gujarat government doesn’t want satsang? Modi would like to see satsang. I don’t oppose anyone but when our sadhaks suffer such a cruel treatment, we need to speak such things on mike. We don’t oppose any one, we even give love to snakes, but don’t think we are weak. If you pressurize us we will uproot you. Either police suppress us or any sect does that, we have Guru’s prashad and samaj seva’s prasad with us,” he said.
