Narendra Modi is Indian Mujahideen’s number one target, says Yasin Bhatkal

Indian Mujahideen(IM) founder Yasin Bhatkal has revealed during interrogation that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is the top target of IM.

According to this report published in India Today Bhatkal told this to National Investigation Agency(NIA) interrogators in Bihar before he was taken to Delhi for further investigation.

The revelations have conveyed their concern to Gujarat police establishments according to this report. Bhatkal also confided that international supporters of Indian Mujahideen are unhappy with their “strike rate” because of which a new terror team has been trained to strike at “big targets” in the run up to the Lok Sabha election.

The report further says Bhatkal admitted to top NIA and Intelligence officers, “the funds flow from our international sympathizers will increase many times if we manage to reach Modi.”

“Narendra Modi is one to 10 in the list of targets. The rest of the targets figure much below him. LK Advani is a distant second in the list of IM targets”, he added.
