Ambikapur, 7 September 2013
Speaking at Ambikapur rally in Chhattisgadh, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi took dig at Nitish Kumar without naming him.
Shri Modi said, “Raman Singh could choose to cry before Delhi with excuse that his state has tribal population, there’s no power, roads here and therefore Delhi should give something. This was one path, and the other path was to accept Chhattisgarh as it is and trying to connect the youths to development and utilization of whatever resources available and not to spend time in Delhi durbar. I congratulate him that he selected the second path. He took decision to not to care about Delhi’s role, he will bring development with support of people by utilizing available resources. This path was difficult, the path to put forward demands in Delhi was easier. Many Chief Ministers go to Delhi and start crying there. In their state they can’t do anything. Ramansingh fought and didn’t succumb and developed his state.”
It should be mentioned that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has time and again sought special package from Delhi to develop Bihar. Without naming him, Cheif Minister Modi clearly punched him and showed how Raman Singh choose better path and achieved success without Delhi’s help in Chhattisgarh.
