Gandhinagar, 17 September 2013
Speaking at a public greeting function on his birthday at Gandhinagar town hall today Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi said
“If we analyse all the elections that took place in India, we will find that year 2014 elections is the only one which is much awaited by common people,” Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi said today at a public greeting function on his birthday at Gandhinagar town hall.
“It is like a hot and humid month of June in which a common person would desperately pray for arrival of shower,” he added.
“Earlier, people were discussing polls only after nomination forms filed, but this time, there’s so much hate, so much dislike among the people, that they are desperately waiting for elections to take place,” he further added.
Modi said there’s a desire for change in the country. People strongly believe that present situation of the country can’t just be allowed to prevail for long.
In a lighter tone he said, the new generation will start asking where’s Delhi in map. Earlier there was a feeling that Delhi has a government that governs India, but nowadays it feels there’s no government there. It is said that coal scam files are missing, but I say the entire government in Delhi is missing.
