Gujarat civic by-polls:BJP wins 9 out of 11 seats, Congress 1

On last Sunday, the by-elections were held in Gujarat for 10 municipality and 1 municipal corporation seats, the results of which are declared today.
BJP has won 9 out of 11 seats, one more than before. Congress has lost one seat and managed to win only one seat.
Congress candidates have lost deposits in Junagadh Municipal Corporation and Patdi municipality by-polls. It should be mentioned that in entire Gujarat, Junagadh is only one municipal corporation that has Congress in power.
