Rahul Gandhi on tackling Narendra Modi
October 03, 2013

Ahmedabad, 28 September 2013
During the interaction with media persons in Ahmedabad today, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi refrained from speaking about BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, but said confidently that Congress will win the next general election of Lok Sabha.
“He (Modi) is BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and not of Congress,” Rahul said in reply to a question on what he thought of the Gujarat Chief Minister.
When asked about how Congress would counter Modi’s campaign onslaught, Rahul Gandhi said,”That is the matter of strategy. You will see that after the elections. We will win next elections. You people had said in 2004 and 2009 that we will lose. But our track-record is good.Congress party’s campaigning has not started. You will see once our campaign starts.”
