By spending Rs. 3 lakh you can buy a new car of basic model, but in Vadodara, one BMW car owner spent this much of money just to get desired RTO number.
During the auction of RTO numbers belonging to newly introduced GJ6HD series, 112 applications were received. RTO earned revenue of Rs. 9,55,258.
The highest amount was paid by a BMW car owner who wanted 9999 number. He paid Rs. 2,99,999 to get this number for his car. The number 33333 was auctioned for Rs. 33,999. Number 4 for Rs. 21,550, number 5454 for Rs.21,020, number 54 for Rs. 15,020, number 888 for Rs. 15,020, number 888 for Rs. 15,000, number 9900 for Rs. 12,312, number 999 for Rs. 12,099, number 333 for Rs. 11,700, and number 5555 for Rs, 11,111.
