Ahmedabad’s Maninagar Swaminarayan mandir’s Rangoli attracks hundreds of visitors every year during Diwali season. The mandir tries to do new every year with an aim to inspire the people through some good message. This year, the mandir has made 31 ft replica of proposed Statue of Unity – featuring Sardar Patel. Maninagar Swaminarayan mandir has installed a tall statue of Sardar Patel at Kevadia colony just next to the Narmada dam. The mandir also published Sardar Patel – ek sinhpurush book. The mandir has recently presented 10 ft tall portrait of Sardar Patel at international airport in Ahmedabad.
