Not Congress, SP, BSP but CBI and IM will fight elections to save Congress:Modi

Lucknow, 8 November 2013

Speaking at Behraich in Uttar Pradesh, BJP prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi today said that next general elections will not be fought by Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) and Samajwadi Party(SP) but actually fought by Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) and Indian Mujahideen(IM) to led the elections front to save Congress.

Modi attacked ruling Samajwadi Party government for sending two BJP MLAs to jail to defame the party. He pointed out that both MLAs were later released by court. Modi accused SP government of doing vote bank politics by sending innocents to jail and culprits to remain free.

He said, “one by one, the way the events are taking place, it seems those who can’t defeat Modi in Gujarat in three elections, those who couldn’t save their prestige, those who think Modi can’t be defeated by democratic efforts, they have started using different tricks through CBI and Indian Mujahideen to do the task.

Those using bombs and guns should know that we are different. We will not succumb to terrorists, we will uproot them.

Chhath puja is more important than Diwali in Bihar, but terrorists killed innocents, someone lost husband, someone lost a child, how will they celebrate Chhat Puja? What was their offense? Just that they spoke slogan of Bharat Mata ki jay?

Modi said the mausam(season) is changing, not only in Behraich but from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Modi recalled how as a general secretary of BJP he was on tour to Behraich and he was called back to Delhi and asked to go to Gujarat as Chief Minister.
