Asaram to lose his ashram land in Gujarat

Gujart government will take back around 200 acre land of Asaram Bapu’s Pedhmala ashram in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat for violation of rules. The district collector of Sabarkantha has already initiated procedure in this direction.
According to Mamlatdar Pathik Patel, the decision in this regard has been taken after going through the land revenue records.
Though the land of ashram is agricultural, the present ownership is not with a farmer.
