Jodhpur court rejects Asaram Bapu’s bail plea

Jodhpur sessions court today rejected Asaram Bapu’s bail plea in sexual assault case. Asaram Bapu will continue to stay in jail under judicial custody in this case. Asaram is also another sexual assault case in Gujarat, and he hasn’t get bail in that case too.
The court has ordered to hear the case against Asaram Bapu on day-to-day basis starting from tomorrow.
The 72-year-old Asaram was arrested in August on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl at his Jodhpur ashram in Rajasthan and was lodged in jail there.
