Supply cheaper gas to Gujarat by next Tuesday, Gujarat High Court’s ultimatum to centre

Gujarat High Court today gave final ultimatum to centre and asked to supply CNG gas to Gujarat at rate on par with other states by next Tuesday. If centre fails to comply, petroleum secretary himself will need to remain present in court. The centre told the court that there were some technical issues because of which it could not supply cheaper gas to Gujarat by 30th November as per the cour order. However court didn’t consider any argument and said it seems centre has no intention to supply cheaper gas to Gujarat.
