Gandhinagar, 4 December 2013
Gujarat Government today welcomed three verdicts of Supreme Court and High Court related to Gujarat.
The Supreme Court has approved Gujarat government’s decision to build Gujarat International Financial Tech City(GIFT) putting aside the Comptroller and Auditor General(CAG) report.
Supreme Court has also asked Government of India to allot CNG gas to Gujarat at rate on par with other states.
Gujarat High Court has asked ONGC to pay crude oil royalty to Gujarat state at market rate with effect from April-2008.
Gujarat Government spokespersons said these three verdicts show Congress-led UPA government’s injustice and neglect to Gujarat. They said UPA govt has mentality to treat Gujarat differently to obstruct its economic activity and development. Political analysts should take note of these verdicts which are like slaps for centre.
