Two videos from Gujarat that are viral online, and few more

Thanks to TV and print media, the discussions on Aam Aadmi Party’s debut and its possible impact on national politics are going on all across online platforms. In context of AAP, two videos are getting popular.

The first video features former MP Chimanbhai Mehta’s son Rahul narrating the agenda behind AAP and its impact over politics. Mehta says that Congress has floated AAP to cut BJP/Modi’s votes in Lok Sabha elections.Mehta gives an example of Chiranjivee’s party in Andhra Pradesh. He says how Chiranjivee cut Chandrababu’s votes and helped Congress. Chiranjivee was speaking same dialogues that Kejriwal was speaking before the Delhi assembly elections. Later Chiranjivee joined Congress and became minister in centre.

On prime time discussion programme on Headlines Today news channel Rahul Kanwal discussed the AAM Aadmi Party impact by giving the example of Raj Thackeray-led MNS. Kanwal observed that Raj’s party was backed by Congress/NCP behind the curtain to stop victory of BJP/Shiv Sena. And soon after Rahul Kanwal’s discussion, BJP fans started circulating figures of year 2009 polls when MNS cut BJP votes and gave away victory to Congress/NCP candidates. Following are the figures being circulated online.

-Congress knows it is not going to come to power after next Lok Sabha polls.
-Congress wants BJP’s figure below 200.
-Congress wants to either support other party, or to take support from other parties to form government.
-To stop BJP and Modi, Congress wants AAP to play major role in urban pockets nationally. AAP may not win even two three seats, but can certainly get good number of anti-Congress votes and prevent victory of less than dozen BJP candidates.
-Same formula was visible with Keshubhai in Gujarat, Badal family member in Punjab, Lalu in Bihar in yeasteryears, Chiranjivee in Andhra and Yedyurappa in Karnataka.

The other video in circulation is again from Gujarat. A group of morning walkers are angry on AAP volunteers for AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s cheating. The video is presented below.

-He said he would never contest elections, but later formed party and fought the polls.

-He swear on his children to say he would not take or give support to either Congress or BJP, but later he took support of Congress.

-He said he had proofs against Sheila Dixit and would act against her if elected to power, but after getting Congress support when he was asked why he didn’t utter a word on action against Sheila Dixit, he said if BJP had any proof they can submit before him and he would take action within couple of hours! Now when BJP has submitted the proofs Arvind is not working. Not only this but Arvind has removed a page on Sheila Dixit’s scandals from AAP website.

-Kejriwal loudly said that within two days he would start a helpline against corruption in Delhi, but such helpline couldn’t start even after seven-eight day. It should be noted that in Gujarat and elsewhere such helplines are already functional.

-Kejriwal said his ministers would not take bungalows and cars, but after election, his ministers have received govt Innova cars. Kejriwal wanted to shift to 10-room govt flats but he had to reverse his decision due to public pressure.
