Several Congress MLAs receive signals to rejoin BJP

Ahmedabad, 1 February 2014

After Bavku Udhad, Radadia and others, few more Congress MLAs have received signals to join the BJP according to Gujarati daily Sandesh’s report which is reconfirmed by DeshGujarat.Following are the details:

-BJP has thrown signal at Congress MLAs Babubhai Meghji Shah, Dr. Anil Joshiara, Jashabhai Barad and Mansinh Chauhan. However all of them have in their response said that they belong to Shankersinh Vaghela group and if Vaghela joins BJP, they are ready to follow.

-Jamnagar district MLA Raghavji Patel has also received signal. He has not replied to it either positively or negatively.

-Himmatnagar Congress MLA Rajendrasinh Chavda has also received signal. He is son of former BJP minister Ranjitsinh Chavda. Rajendrasnh joined Congress because he had problem with then local MLA and minister Praful Patel who in last election lost against Rajendrasinh.

-Presently, all those who have received signal from BJP are waiting for proper time. Some may join just before the Lok Sabha polls as a part of strategy. Ticket allotment in Congress in Lok Sabha polls will be crucial in this regard.

-Barring one all those mentioned above were originally BJP men. They left BJP with their leader Shankersinh Vaghela and later joined Congress with Vaghela.
