The month of February is here

The month of February begins today.

The Election Commission of India is likely to declare schedule of general elections this year in last week of this month or in first week of next month.

Ahead of model code of conduct, Gujarat will witness inauguration of number of development projects. Like say, Ambaji parikrama project is to be opened this month.

Only one festival this month is Shivratri on 27th. With Shivratri, winter will end and blending season will start.

Lok Sabha elections are likely to take place in the months of April and May in phase-wise manner. In view of this, political parties will start their aggressive campaign immediately after Shivratri.

Gujarat assembly’s token session will convene from 20th February. It will continue till 26th. Year 2014-15 budget for first four months will be passed through vote on account.

Narendra Modi’s India-wide rallies and other events will continue to be discussed. He has some major rallies lined up in north, south and east India this month.
