Meerut ready for Narendra Modi’s grand rally today

It’s countdown time for Narendra Modi’s Meerut rally today. Following are all details you would like to read about preparations of Meerut rally.

-The rally is going to be held at Shatgabdi nagar here.

-Modi will be in Meerut after a gap of aroud five years. He had addressed a rally in Gymkhana ground here in 2009 ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

-Uttar Pradesh BJP president Lakshmikant Vajpayee is from Meerut.

-Meerut falls in western Uttar Pradesh where BJP has good presence.

-Meerut rally will attract BJP workers and Modi fans from Delhi, Gaziabad, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Bijnaur, Buland Shehar, Bagpat and Merath belts covering total 19 districts.

-As per intelligence reports, three sharp shooters are out to kill Modi. Considering this, Modi is advised to deliever speech sitting behind bullet proof glass.

-According to ADG Law and Order Mukul Goyal, 2 SP, 10 ASP, 20 DySP, 12 Inspectors, 150 Sub Inspectors, 450 constables, 10 companies of PAC, 20 hand held metal detectors, 25 framed metal detectors, 3 anti-sabotage teams, 2 bomb disposal squad and 2 commando teams of ATS are arrived from headquarters.

-The rally will be telecast live in seven cities through projectors.

-A team of Gujarat police led by Raghvendra Vatsa is in Meerut for Chief Minister’s security.

-A group of 40 commandos is in Meerut from Gujarat, while 70 commandos are from UP police.

-The rally venue will have presence of 8886 police men.

-Rally area has been distributed in 20 zones for security purpose. Entire Meerut has been distributed in 32 zones.

-Inner cordon will have 490 cops, 10 platoon PAC.

-Outer cordon will have 198 cops, 04 platoons PAC.

-Parking area 294, sensitive areas 280 cops plus two companies, 1 platun PAC, highway 66 cops, fleet 3 cops, roof of 16 cops, ring round team and plain cloth cops 145, QRT 2 teams, airport to outer cordon 31 cops, Shatabdinagar divider to outer cordon 51 cops. In rally place, 4 SP, 28 ASP, 84 CO, 650 ASI, 98 PI, 100 Head constables, 150 women constables, 2700 constables, 15 companies PAC, 60 TSI, 388 traffic police jawans.

-ISRO’s former scientist is incharge of IT cell here that has 100 members. IT team wants to ensure that people beyond the rally place connect to this event.10 MBPS connection and 125 computers are places here.

-There will be 19 cameras capturing the rally.

-Ahead of the rally, dozens of bike rallies were organized throughout the week in various towns of western Uttar Pradesh.

-The stage of Modi’s rally will be 74 ft long and 40 ft wide covering an area of 2960 sq.ft. It will be 16 ft up from the ground. It is for the first time that this size of stage has been set up in Meerut.

-There will be 40 different zones in ground. 15 parking zones are there.

Politically

After recent riots, Jats are attracted to BJP led by Narendra Modi. Western Uttar Pradesh is Jat+Muslim land. BSP is attempting Dalit+Muslim equation booth wise here. RLD has organized a rally on 30 January on its own. It is also trying to play Kisan card. SP has promoted three Muslim MoS to cabinet level, has made 7 Jat and Muslim leaders from western UP MoS. Congress is mulling to play Jat reservation card. Still BJP has upper hand here and there’s great support for Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
