Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today described union Finance minister P.Chidambaram as recounting minister and said “you are here because of Harvard, and I am here because of hardwork.”
Modi was rebutting Chidambaram’s postage stamp comment with solid facts. Modi said only if you put a postal stamp, a letter is delivered, thus I have proven myself but what have you done as an economist?
Modi said he prefers to stay silent against daily abuses because he knows that more mud is thrown at him, lotus will bloom even better.
He told Chidambaram that knowledge of economics doesn’t come from books alone. Good governance is required too.
Mordi said Congress failed to create jobs and people are loosing their jobs too.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s “ullu” remark targeting him, Modi said three generations of Congress party tries to spread lies in Gujarat, but the people of Gujarat didn’t accept them. India too will not accept it now.
Modi said Congress allies respect corruption a lot and are allowed to loot and in Tamil Nadu also there are beneficiaries.
Centre vs state, party vs government, government vs Supreme Court, Defense minister vs Army, this is what happening in the country, he said.
Modi stressed on the need of strong government in centre.
Modi thanked six political parties in Tamil Nadu for “standing shoulder to shoulder with BJP for glorious India.”
