Construction-wise state’s largest RTO opens today in Surat

Gujarat’s largest RTO in terms of campus area and construction is going to be opened today by Transport minister Nitin Patel.
Rs. 14.20 crore Pal RTO office has over 11645.70 sq.m. built-up. Its A,C, D blocks have ground+3 floor construction while B block has ground+2 construction. Automatic track has been built for driving license test.
Vehicle fitness center
India’s first transport vehicle fitness center is under construction at Masma village in Olpad taluka of Surat district in south Gujarat. The project is likely to be completed by May-June this year. It will be opened in July 2014. The owners of transport vehicle will need to have fitness certificate of their vehicle every month. A special sticker will be sticked over the vehicles successfully completing the test.
