“Gujarat polling date 30th April,BJP not in hurry to finalize the candidates”

Gujarat BJP parliamentary board meeting was held today to discuss the names of possible candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha general elections.
Today’s meeting was limited to discussion on southern and central Gujarat seats.
Next two meetings scheduled to take place on 11th and 12th of this month will discuss the seats of other regions like Ahmedabad, north Gujarat an Saurashtra.
According to BJP leader Vijaybhai Rupani, the entire process will take a week or so to complete.
The state parliamentary board will forward a list of probable candidates to Delhi based central election committee where final decision on candidates will be taken.
BJP is going to declare next list of candidates on 13th. However Rupani said, Gujarat would witness polling on 30th of April and therefore there’s too much time left, therefore party is not in hurry.
