Narendra Modi to contest from Varanasi, Arun Jaitley Amritsar, Rajnath Lucknow, Kirron Kher Chandigarh

New Delhi, 15 March 2014

It’s official finally. Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi will contest from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi Lok Sabha seat.

Sitting MP of Varanasi and former BJP president Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi will contest from Kanpur seat.

BJP national president Shri Rajnath Singh will contest from Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow.

Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha, Gujarat MP and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley will contest from Amritsar in Punjab.

Spokesperson of BJP Meenakshi Lekhi will contest from New Delhi seat.

BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate for Delhi, Dr. Harshwardhan will contest from Chandni Chawk seat in Delhi against Congress candidate Kapil Sibal and AAP candidate Asutosh.

Film star Shatrughan Sinha will contest from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat in Bihar.

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher’s wife Kirron Kher will contest from Chandigarh against AAP candidate and Bollywood actress Gul Panag and Congress candidate Pawan Bansal.
