Varanasi: SP Councillor booked for putting offending Gujarat photos on Facebook

Samajwadi Party Councillor from Varanasi has been booked under Information Technology Act for uploading some photographs of 2002 Gujarat riots on his Facebook account. According to complainant Varun Sinh attempted to spoil peaceful atmosphere in Varanasi.
On the other hand Varun Sinh said that someone had hacked his account to upload Gujarat photographs. He said this was a conspiracy. Police has removed photographs from Varun Sinh’s Facebook account.
