Ahmedabad, 21 March 2014
Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party has declared the names of three more Gujarat candidates today:
Amreli: Nathalal Sukhadiya
Surendranagar Jethabhai Manjibhai Patel
Patan: Atulbhai Karsanlal Patel
Of these three, Nathalal Sukhadiya is known for his RTI and media briefing oriented movement against former minister Dilipbhai Sanghani. In July 2012 when Sukhadia continuously attacked Sanghani through media briefing, Sanghani had said, “the newspapers define Sukhadia as RTI activist but actually he is a Congress member. He was Taluka panchayat member elected on Congress ticket from Devalia. When that seat was converted into a reserved seat, Nathalal’s third wife Bhavnaben contested election from Congress party, and she is a member of Panchayat at present.”
Author’s note:
The candidates declared by AAP are again someones who may get votes in range of 3,000-8,000 or around. No impressive name yet.
