Bhadani, Khorani leave BJP, Kanjibhai Patel is new dissident

Former minister Bechar Bhadani who left the party, lost the election and later rejoined the BJP today resigned again from the party.
Bhadani was hoping for party nomination on Lathi seat. However party allotted ticket to Bavku Undhad, a sitting Congress MLA who resigned and rejoined the BJP. Bhadani has submitted his resignation from all posts of party.
Former BJP MLA Hanubhai Dhorajiya has already resigned from party to join Conrgess. Hanubhai first joined Aam Aadmi Party and soon joined Congress. He too is hoping to contest Lathi seat.
In another development senior BJP leader Kanjibhai Patel is opposing BJP candidate K C Patel’s nomination on Valsad seat.
Former BJP MLA from Chotila Vashram Khorani has resigned from party to join Congress.
Impact assessment
Kanjibhai is another old leader who has enjoyed power and position through party and now refusing to retire. Bechar Bhadani has been a failure post 1990s. Bharat Khorani was given ticket after sudden death of his father late BJP MLA Vashram Khorani. He remained one-election wonder.
