BJP launches anthem song for Lok Sabha campaign(Video)

New Delhi, 25 March 2014

The BJP today launched its official anthem song for Lok Sabha elections campaign. The song is in voice of Narendra Modi and Sukhwinder Singh. Music has been given by Aadesh Shrivastava. Lyrics are by Prasoon Joshi.

Audio and video CDs of anthem song were released by senior BJP leader Shri Arun Jaitley at BJP headquarters in Delhi in presence of Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nirmala Sitaraman among others.

The song begins with ‘Saugand mujhe is mitti ki mein desh nahi mitne dunga, mein desh nahi jhukne dunga’ in Narendra Modi’s voice.

Later Sukhwinder Singh continues the song, but Narendra Modi’s voice keeps coming in between.

Modi has recited this poetry in various rallies in the past. He first recited this poetry in Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel stadium during BJYM Gujarat’s rally.

The video of this song has been divided in four parts. The first part was showcased in the press conference. It was featuring youth faces. Shri Modi also was seen in video reciting a line.

Shri Jaitley said videos will be used as advertisement on TV channels.
