Harin Pathak meets Rajnath Singh, will not become another Jaswant

A 7-time BJP MP from Ahmedabad Shri Harin Pathak today met BJP national president Shri Rajnath Singh in Delhi.

Harin Pathak said he spoke to Rajnath Singh about functioning of the party, so that party can win more seats. He said he had given four point suggestions on party functioning.

Pathak said he also conveyed the feelings of thousands of party workers who are hurt due to some reasons.

When asked whether he will choose Jaswant way, and leave the party, Pathak replied, “Not at all.”

Pathak said it would have been better if a BJP member was given ticket instead of him.

Even after efforts by media persons, Pathak didn’t say a single word against Narendra Modi personally.

When asked about his closeness with Advani, Pathak said he is close to Advaniji, Sushmaji, Arunji and others and will be going to meet Advaniji after meeting Rajnath Singh.

When asked by another group of media persons, Pathak on his meeting with Rajnath said, “Rajnathji was very busy today and as many people were sitting there, Rajnath Singh told me that he was busy and will reply me by evening tomorrow. I will leave Delhi after getting his reply, as I am in Delhi only till tomorrow evening.”

The biggest worry for BJP was about possibility of Pathak contesting as independent candidate on Ahmedabad East seat. However it seems after today’s meeting the issue has been resolved at this point and Pathak is not going to fight the poll.
