After two days visit to Ahmedabad East Lok Sabha seat areas, Mumbai based actor and Ahmedabad East seat’s BJP candidate Paresh Rawal was back to Ahmedabad today.
Rawal met party workers and locals of Uvarsad village in Gandhinagar today and then left for two more mass contact meetings in the same district.
Tomorrow he is scheduled to meet locals and party workers from more than 20 villages, including Dahegam, Rakhiyal, Piplaj and Bahiyal.
During his brief talk with media persons, Rawal accused the Congress of ignoring Sardar Patel’s legacy. “Sardar Patel was given the Bharat Ratna award after more than 50 years of his death, while Rajiv Gandhi was given the same, after just three years of his death,” Rawal said.
Rawal was seen without bouncers today during his visit. He was criticized by local media for hiring bouncers during his campaign visit.
