Imran Masood out of jail

Imran Masood, Congress candidate from Saharanpur seat in Uttar Pradesh was today released on bail by court. He was earlier sent to 14 days juidicial custody. Saharanpur will witness polling on 10th of April. Masood will now be able to campaign and cast his vote. Rahul Gandhi had last week started his Western Uttar Pradesh campaign for Congress party at Saharanpur. In absense of Masood, Rahul campaigned with Masood’s wife. Rahul tried to protect Masood claiming that the video of Masood against Modi was six months old. Masood was arrested before dawn Saturday for a hate speech in which he threatened to “chop” BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi “into pieces”.
