Kasargod, 7 April 2014
On Congress district committee’s order, the contractors in Kasargod in Kerala completely dismantled a helipad built for Rahul Gandhi’s election campaign. This just to ensure that BJP’s prime ministerial candidate who is arriving for campaign of BJP candidate K Surendran on Tuesday morning can not use it. BJP has started building another helipad in Kasergod Government College ground as a result. Congress workers destroyed the helipad despite request from Gujarat police DIG R J Sawani who was here to oversee the security arrangements for Modi. Congress workers were of opinion that heliped built through funds of Congress must not be allowed to use by BJP.
