Narendra Modi’s speeches and interviews refreshing, I wish him all the best: Swami Agnivesh(video)

New Delhi, 25 April 2014

NDA’s Prime Ministerial candidate received strong support from unexpected quarters when social activist Swami Agnivesh, who is associated with the World Council of Arya Samaj lauded Narendra Modi’s efforts towards eradicating social evils and wished him the very best for the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. Swami Agnivesh described Modi’s election speeches and interviews as refreshing because of Modi’s strong disapproval of communal and caste politics.

Agnivesh particularly lauded Modi for his tough stand against the irresponsible remarks of VHP’s Pravin Togadia, saying that is commendable of Modi to disapprove of such opportunist bigots who are diverting from the development agenda.

The social activist was in full praise of Modi for his crusade against the pink revolution and recalled the efforts of Mahatma Gandhi against cow slaughter and alcoholism. Agnivesh even disproved of those vested interest groups who view Modi’s charade against the pink revolution from a communal colour, saying these so called progressives are not doing the right thing.

Agnivesh, previously a staunch critic of Modi joins the list of several eminent thinkers and public figures who has appreciated Modi’s development politics.
