As many as one lakh ‘pledge to vote’ forms are distributed in Vadodara among voters, mainly young voters. Each person takes pledge to vote and asks five more persons to vote. NDA’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is face of the elections in Vadodara. He is challenged by Congress candidate Madhusudan Mistry. While district administration is doing its best to ensure maximum turn out on polling day as part of its duty, the BJP wants over 75% voting and ideally 90% voting to make Narendrabhai victorious with record margin nationally.
