Modi never said that Priyanka is like his daughter, Modi’s office releases uncut video of interview

It is good that the Chief Minister’s office keeps one copy of video of his every interview in possession soon after the interview is captured. There was a news report today in prominent English daily claiming that Narendra Modi in his interview to Doordarshan said Priyanka is like his daughter. The report claimed that Doordarshan edited this part of the interview and released the interview after two days. Late in the evening on Thursday, Modi’s office released full tape of Modi’s interview with Doordarshan to make it clear that Narendra Modi never said something which has been mentioned in English daily’s report. Presented here is a video of Modi’s Doordarshan interview released on Modi’s Youtube channel.

A controversy uncalled for resulting in unnecessary bitterness. There are other newsworthy concerns during election time.
