Narendra Modi gets SPG security cover

Special Protection Group(SPG) has taken over the security of Narendra Modi. As soon as the results showed clear trend in favor of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, a team of SPG left Delhi for Gandhinagar to provide security cover to Narendrabhai.
Modi was for the first time seen with SPG cover at his Vadodara rally.
Ahead of the elections, BJP had sought SPG cover for Modi, but union government had turned down the proposal. As a result, Modi did entire campaign through over 5,000 events relying on NSG and Gujarat Police protection cover.
