Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia has been provided upgraded ‘Z’ category security cover after review of threat assessment to him by Gujarat police. Modhwadia was enjoying ‘Y’ category security cover until now.
With ‘Z’ category security cover, Modhwadia has now five armed jawans, one PSI level security officer from the state police, escort and pilot vans of Gujarat Police with siren and beacon lights.
Modhwadia’s security has been upgraded with an effect from Friday 16 May. Modhwadia is not minister, MP, MLA or leader of opposition. The security cover has been provided to him citing personal threat to him in connection with Mulu Modhwadia murder case and political rivalry in Porbandar.
