In response to his felicitation at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel international airport Prime Minister-elect and Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi said Gujarat will continue to go ahead due to its institutionalized development model.
Shri Modi said, “Gujarat will continue to go ahead on its development journey because Gujarat has institutionalized its development model by setting up an institutional framework.”
Modi said, ” I am a primary member of BJP in Gujarat. It is other thing that due to new responsibility I’m going somewhere, but Gujarat continues to have full right over me.”
In lighter tone he said, “….. and you can easily say now that you know the Prime Minister…. you can say that once you had a cup of tea, or sing chana with him.”
Modi said, “our responsibility is very big now, as we have to fulfill the dreams of common man”.
Modi wished speedier progress of Gujarat, and said “we want the nation to go ahead even faster than Gujarat. I will have advantage of my Gujarat experience(while working for nation). I have full confidence that India can’t fail. If 125 crore people make desire for success, this nation has potential to match prosperous nations of the world.”
