This is how Narendrabhai admired Amit Shah in Ahmedabad(video)

Ahmedabad, 20 May, 2014

In response to his felicitation at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel airport in Ahmedabad along with party’s general secretary and Uttar Pradesh unit incharge Amit Shah, Prime Minister-designate Shri Narendra Modi in his speech said, one of the benefits gained in the Lok Sabha general elections by country was that it achieved a political worker called Amit Shah.

“In these elections, party(BJP) achieved many gains, and one of the benefits was that the country got a party worker called Amit Shah. Very few people tend to have any idea about the capacity of a small worker, and the best results he can bring. I recently went to Ganga Aarti, and when in car, people out there were searching who is Amit Shah,” Modi said.

He added, “post elections, countrywide as many as 20 states and union territories are now Congress-free. What Congress could achieve in 30 states(number of seats), Amitbhai achieved it in a single state of Uttar Pradesh. You can imagine the scale(of success).”

In his speech, Shri Amit Shah said, “It’s a historic day for the nation from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gujarat to Assam.”

He added, “for the first time a non-Congress party has achieved clear majority and that party is BJP. On top of it, the nation has put trust in one Gujarati.”

Shah admired Gujarat’s contribution of 26/26 seats to BJP’s overall success. Shah congratulated party workers and Modi for their contribution.

“It is one thing to get appointed by party as a leader, but it is other thing to take election campaign ahead successfully. No-one has ever led the election campaign by employing such a massive effort like Narendrabhai.”

At Maninagar rally

Modi said: The name of Gujarat is in discussion for other reasons too nationwide. Our Amitbhai won about double seats in one state compared to what Congress could win in 30 states together. This is an example of what one Gujarati can do. And any Gujarati can take proud of the fact that a small or big party worker trained in Gujarat can ensure victory anywhere.
