Narendra Modi gets Keshubhai Patel to stage(pictures)

Gandhinagar, 22 May 2014

When you are in public life, millions of people observe you, and your small small acts leave imprints over minds and hearts of people. In Anandiben Patel’s swearing in ceremony at Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir today, Narendrabhai Modi was sitting with Speaker Vajubhai Vala on stage. Suddenly he spotted former Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel sitting in audience. Shri Modi immediately left the stage, walked to Keshubhai Patel and requested him to come to stage. Though old-age and weak Shri Keshubhai Patel had his assistant with him, Narendrabhai personally helped him and walked along with him upto the stage. Modi’s staff was quick to arrange an extra chair next to Shri Modi. Shri Keshubhai sat on that chair and then conversation between Modi and Keshubhai started which continued till the time the national anthem was played. Shri Keshubhai Patel was greeted by Shri Advani, Shri Rajnath Singh, Shri Murli Manohar Joshi, Shri Venkaiya Naidu among others on this occasion.
