Patna, May 29 (ANI):
Department of Posts issued special stamps on Prime Minister Narendra Modi made by a philatelist in Bihar. The stamps and a special cover conceptualised by philatelist Pradeep Jain depicted Modi in four different poses and the special cover showed him emerging from a lotus. Jain said that he got the idea of ‘My Stamp’ during the inauguration of Barack Obama as United States President. It was a global event and stamps were released in Washington. The stamps and the cover were released on Modi’s swearing-in ceremony on May 26. Impressed by his work, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted him to get few of the stamps to send them to the neighbouring countries.
