-Telangana will be India’s 29th state on Monday, 2nd June with K Chandrashekhar Rao taking oath as state’s first Chief Minister.
-The Special Investigative team (SIT) to probe black money will hold its first meeting on Monday.Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet set up a high-powered SIT headed by retired Supreme Court (SC) judge MB Shah to look into the issue of black money and slush funds last week.
-Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet council of ministers on Monday.
