-Two more deaths were noticed in Amdavad on Thursday due to extreme heat. Total toll is four in two days.

-BJP MP Sumitra Mahajan will be elected Lok Sabha Speaker on Friday with support of all parties including Congress.

-Popular Gujarati website ReadGujarati.Com’s owner and creator Mrugesh Shah passed away today in a hospital in Vadodara following brain hemorrhage.

-Senior Minister Saurabh Patel today laid foundation stone for State of the Art “Center for Participatory Learning” at Gandhinagar.
