Only confirm tickets under Tatkal from 1st August

There’s good news for railway passenger. From 1st August there will be no waiting ticket in Tatkal.
Tatkal tickets are booked 24 hours before journey. Passengers pay Rs. 60-150 extra for Tatkal ticket. If their Tatkal is not confirmed they loss Rs. 60-150.
The railway ministry has not changed this practice for good of passengers. From 1st August, only confirm tickets will be issued under Tatkal scheme.
Reservation centers to remain open for full time on Sunday
At present, railway reservation centers remain open just till 2.00 pm on Sundays contrary to 8.00 pm on weekdays. Now onwards reservation centers will remain open till 8.00 pm even on Sundays.
